Trust Impact work with your team to help find pragmatic and straightforward ways to measure and report your impact, building trust with beneficiaries, stakeholders and funders and linking your impact to your purpose. 


ymca england & wales

Following our successful review of impact for YMCA England & Wales, Trust Impact are delighted to have been asked to work with YMCA England and Wales on a retained basis to help implement the findings from our review. We will be focusing on measuring the impact from housing services across the federation and visualising how YMCA England and Wales adds value to the network.


Following our successful impact review for Access Sport, Trust Impact have now been asked to work on a retained basis to help the team at Access Sport implement the recommendations from our review, including providing support on impact reporting, communications and strategy

activity alliance

Following a successful review of impact measurement and reporting for Activity Alliance Trust Impact were asked to help the organisation with developing a new theory of change.


Trust Impact are working with sport for development charity StreetGames to review their impact measurement and reporting. In particular we will be focusing on how we can communicate in a straightforward and pragmatic way the impact of the Doorstep Sports programme.

UK Coaching

Trust Impact were asked to help improve the measurement of impact for three UK Coaching programme areas – talent, low socio economic groups and increasing activity – and make recommendations for how to deliver this. Matt spent time with the UK Coaching team looking at impact and the organisation's purpose in a workshop format. Matt and Katie then researched current impact measurement and made recommendations to the Senior Management Team.


Trust Impact were asked to help make data more relevant for fundraising purposes and provide clearer communication of impact to funders to facilitate bigger funding asks.

The Scouts

Trust Impact were asked to conduct an impact review focusing on how impact is measured and reported within the organisation. Specifically relating to the new 'Skills For Life' strategy which the Scouts launched in 2018. Matt and John spend time background reading and two days at Scout HQ 'Gilwell Park' talking to members of the team and looking at the existing Scout systems before reporting their findings to the Senior Management Team.


As CEO of Street League, Trust Impact founder Matt Stevenson-Dodd developed the third sector's first ever live impact dashboard which linked the Street League internal database to their website via MS PowerBI, publishing impact in real-time. The first version of the dashboard was launched in November 2017. Version 2 of Street League's online impact dashboard was launched in November 2018 and can be viewed by following the link below.


Street League

As CEO of Street League, Trust Impact founder Matt Stevenson-Dodd made the brave move in 2016 of publishing an annual report which talked up-front about all of the young people Street League were unable to support that year. This was followed with an article in The Guardian and the launch of the #CallForClarity campaign.
